Argentine port workers ended a strike of nearly a day after unions reached an agreement giving on-board port personnel priority in the national Covid-19 vaccination plan. The stoppage had paralysed ships at Rosario, the country's main grain export hub, which handles most of Argentina's corn and soymeal exports.
The end of the stoppage eases near-term export bottlenecks for corn and soymeal, but the unions have shown they can threaten further action, which keeps some supply risk in Argentine feed meal prices.
