WTO Director-General Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala is reportedly looking 'positively' at resolving WTO rules that hamper India from shipping wheat held in state granaries to countries facing shortages after the Russia-Ukraine conflict. The rules penalize exports from official stocks bought at fixed minimum support prices, while private trade is unaffected.
