Moroccan phosphate producer OCP is seeking to regain US market access after a Court of International Trade judge questioned the ITC's injury finding behind duties on Moroccan phosphate. A ruling is not expected for at least a couple of months, and the company faces possibly more legal battles.
If duties on Moroccan phosphate are lifted, additional supply could enter the US market, easing domestic DAP and phosphate price pressure for US buyers.
