Injunction allows Monsanto to sow GM corn, use glyphosate

A Mexico City administrative judge granted Monsanto, now part of Bayer, an injunction against a presidential decree that would have phased out glyphosate and GM corn imports for food use by January 2024. The injunction lets Bayer keep supplying glyphosate and GM seeds while the case is pending.

Mexico's Environment Ministry said it disagreed with the ruling and would challenge it.
