UAE producer Fertiglobe expects to benefit from a tighter urea market as China's exports slow sharply, with under 200,000 tonnes shipped in the first half of 2024. The company said it is absorbing a record amount of new urea output and that demand now significantly exceeds supply.
Reduced Chinese urea exports and strong demand point to firmer nitrogen fertilizer prices, which squeezes grain growers' margins and can support feed grain prices.
