Morocco's OCP Group sold 90,000 tonnes of phosphate fertilisers to Latin America for April shipment, including MAP and TSP at $810-820/t and $645-650/t cfr. Saudi Arabia's Maaden also reported a 15,000-tonne MAP sale to South America, without explaining how the cargo will ship through the Strait of Hormuz.
Phosphate sales at high cfr prices, with Gulf supply at risk, show that buyers in Latin America are paying up and shifting volume toward Morocco. That supports DAP and TSP prices.
