US natural gas prices posted their longest run of weekly losses since 2001, with prices down more than 30% from an August 14-year high. Mild weather and record production eased fears of a winter supply crunch, and European futures also fell on rising stockpiles.
Weak weather-driven demand and record supply are pushing gas prices lower, reducing the cost pressure on energy-intensive feed production. The decline could reverse if colder weather returns.
